3rd April 1860 - The first Pony Express Run

3rd April 1860

The United States Pony Express was a great invention that made history of America.
Thanks to it, people could send mails through the whole continent because the horsemen were able to run along a path 3200km long! It was possible because the distance between the West side (San Francisco station) and the East side (St Joseph station) has been divided in 190 shorter paths of 16km.
The 3rd April 1860, the first Pony Express run began from St. Joseph at 7.15 pm and it ended the day after at 1.00 am in San Francisco.
